  Hashtopolis 0.12.0 Release

The new Hashtopolis release contains new features, various bug fixes and enhancements:


  • Generic preprocessor integration to allow inclusion of any preprocessor supporting chunking.
  • Dark mode added.

  • Fixed increasing the superhashlist cracked count if there are cracks running one of the hashlists alone.
  • Fixed hidden superhashlists on task creation page due to filtering.
  • Fixed reporting result of health check which resulted in endless loop depending on the used IDs.
  • Fixed reporting outdated speed on tasks page when agent is put inactive directly.
  • Fixed recalculation of benchmark when changing chunk time.
  • Fixed discord notification to work again.
  • Fixed missing index structure on speed measurements table.

  • Agents can be assigned to tasks via user API.
  • Server can be configured to provide 'isComplete' flag on the user API when requesting all tasks.
  • Certain agent errors can be whitelisted to be completely ignored (for such who don't affect the running).
  • Hashlists can be moved to other Access Groups after creation.
  • Health checks can now be deleted.
  • API keys can get masked if admin is not assigned to them.
  • Agent data for temperature and util are split into separate graphs and have more different colors.
  • Files can now be selected for either the cracker task or the preprocessor and are filled in the corresponding field.
  • Included new Hashcat modes included in newest beta.
  • Adjusted to new format of Hashcat printing cracked WPA hashes.
  • Adjusted to PMKID handling of Hashcat.

A detailed description of the problem you are experiencing

I have a WPA/WPA2 hashlist (mode 2500) uploaded in HCCAPX format. It's a combined file (using cat) and Hashtopolis recognizes the number of hashes: 0.00% (0 / 131).

I have a wordlist, wonder-list-sorted-uniq.txt.gz, and then I have created a task to associate the two. I'm not doing any preprocessing or anything fancy, just a plain wordlist attack. When running the task, debug shows that Hashcat is able to crack some of the hashes, I _believe_ Hashtopolis is recognizing this as it shows an entry for "Cracks:", but it also has the same value for "Skips:" so for instance it will have 1 for both.

The outfile looks similar to this:

Is there something possibly wrong with my input, or a configuration part that I'm missing? I created a test NTLM hash just to test it, and the NTLM hash cracks and actually gets saved to the Hashtopolis database, and shows up in the web app. So I can confirm that part at least is working for me.

  Performance issue

I have an performance issue. I use an node with 6xGTX1080 and on the pure Hashcat it reach ~120GH/s performance in bruteforce attack (MD5) but if I start the same task by Hashtopolis this node reach only half of this value like ~60GH/s. What is the reason of decrease of performance?

Hasthopolis 0.11.0, hashcat 5.1.0

I have a methodology of cracking passwords comprised of 210 individual tasks.  I have created all of these individual tasks as preconfigured tasks.  I then created a Supertask that includes all 210 tasks. I then assign it to go after a list of 96 ntlm hashes.

When I go to the tasks screen, I see my Supertask running, and I click on the information icon to view all 210 of the subtasks that make this up.  However, every time the screen refreshes (I have auto-reload enabled), I lose this screen and have to click the information icon again.  

We recently migrated from 0.5.1, and got spoiled in this version because when you clicked on SHOW/HIDE on a Supertask, it expanded a table below it and it stayed visible with every screen auto reload.

Is there a way in 0.11.0 to keep all subtasks of a Supertask visible with every screen auto refresh?

I have one task with this attack command: -a3 #HL# -1 ?dabcdef ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1

so the keyspace size is: 16^10 = 1099511627776 

but in tasks.php the keyspace size says: 1000000000

Whats wrong?

  API createHashList Response Question

Hi, I am able to create a hashlist, however, I do not receive the hashListId in the response as shown in user_api.pdf. I need to obtain the id in order to create a task (next step).

This is the sample response from the api docs (user_api.pdf).

The response does not contain the hashlistId as shown in the API docs.  How should I get that id as I need it in my next request to create a task.  I am running Hashtopolis version 0.10.1.  Thanks in advance!
