  Update Hashcat Binary
Posted by: daveinli1218 - 03-22-2023, 11:04 AM - Forum: Howto - No Replies

Hi,
Lastest version of Hashtopolis.
Hashcat 6.2.6

Is there a simple way to update the binaries, because they are not current?
Maybe on the server end or something?

Has anyone figured out a way to fairly divide a crack to agents.
if you have 10 agents and all have different equipment or on different hash, how do you fairly pay out group?

  Hashcat error on windows
Posted by: Bimbo - 02-11-2023, 01:30 PM - Forum: Problems - No Replies

Hello! I recently encountered the problem of non-working clients on windows on version 0.7.0 (although on linux 0.7.0 I also did not start). On windows, I switched to client 0.6.1. But hashcat gives an error. Hashcat - 6.0.0, Hashtopolis - 13, agent - 0.6.1, windows - 11, 10, server 2019 core. Here is the error:

Code:
Got task with id: 1
Downloading: [==================================================]
Client is up-to-date!
Got cracker binary type hashcat
Keyspace got accepted!
Benchmark task...
Error during speed benchmark, return code: 4294967295 Output:

Attack command:
Code:
-a 3 ?l?l?l?d?d?d #HL#

Question: How can I run at least some version of the client/hashcat?

  AMD GPU hangs in Benchmark
Posted by: AlexGPU - 01-28-2023, 06:02 PM - Forum: Problems - No Replies

Hashtopolis 0.12
Client 6.0
Hashcat 6.2.6

I've run Nvidia and no problems just low hashrate than on local PC
With AMD, it's just loops in benchmark , i've also tested putting manual benchmarks and nothings happened.
On locl PC with just Hashcat 6.2.6 runs fine.

Any thoughts what can be a problem?

Low hash rate on Hashtopolis 0.12 vs Hashcat 6.2.6 locally
Posted by: AlexGPU - 01-28-2023, 05:58 PM - Forum: Problems - No Replies

So I have tested

Also 11300 Bitcoin/Litecoin
Hashtopolis ver 0.12
Client 6.0
Hashcat 6.2.6

The hashrate I have on a locally run hashcat is
38 000 h/s on GTX 1060 6 GB
12 000 h/s max on Hashtopolis and troping drastically till the end of a task to just 300 h/s

Same with RTX 2080 and RTX 3070

Did some one had the same problem ?

  Disable CPU Permanently
Posted by: daveinli1218 - 01-26-2023, 09:56 PM - Forum: Problems - No Replies

Hi,

We have been using Hashtopolis for a while now.
Question, when someone connects we are forced to manually disable CPU and manually choose to discard errors.
Reason we want this feature is Vast rentals connect and on failure we are being forced to add them over again.

Disable CPU, we only use GPU because CPU slows us down.
Discard Errors
Best way to restart a Vast rental that fails so that the ID stays the same

Thank you

  Linux files are not deleted

The problem is in the file files.py line 41.

os.path.dirname(self.config.get_value('files-path') + "/" + filename) != "files"

This os.path.dirname is equal to the path from my config.

Therefore, there is a continuation

  Windows 10 Python Client Crashing
Posted by: hexag0ne - 01-07-2023, 05:59 PM - Forum: Problems - Replies (1)

I've tested this on 3 different Windows 10 clients and I am gettting the same failure on each, see the debug, this happens as soon as I activate a client with task waiting, otherwise the client sits in the waiting state.

I've also run this on an Ubuntu client and been successful.

This has also happened with two separate brand new hashtopolis servers setups.  The second was a clean install of Ubunutu with a brand new install of hashtopolis from github. I've also tried different version of Python (3.7, 3.10 and 3.11). The various Windows 10 clients are running different antivirus software, I've attempted disabling real time scanning and met with no success.  I've reached the end of the troubleshooting I capable of......help.

How to upload a 1 GB dictionary to the server? I try the Add button> I select a file> Upload and nothing happens.

Small files are added without problems.
