  Recommended way to update wordlists
Posted by: OmegaPigeon - 09-22-2021, 03:18 PM - Forum: Hashtopolis - Replies (1)

Hello,

I have several preconfigured tasks depending on a wordlist that gets updated every few months. What is the most efficient way to update a wordlist in Hashtopolis without needing to recreate all the preconfigured tasks?

Sorry if duplicate question as well.

Server and Agent On Same Machine
Posted by: OmegaPigeon - 08-21-2021, 03:56 AM - Forum: Howto - Replies (1)

Hello,

I was wondering if there would be any conflicts from running Hashtopolis server on the same box as a Hashtopolis agent?

Multicast does not work via WireGuard on Linux
Posted by: d0br0 - 08-19-2021, 10:29 PM - Forum: Problems - Replies (9)

Hi guys!

  • 0.12.0 commit 2be8530 branch master
  • Python agent v0.6.1
  • Hashcat v6.2.3
  • #HL# -a 0 -O -w 4  iam_11.txt
My agent and the server communicate inside the network via WireGuard.
10.9.0.1 - server
10.9.0.11 - Linux agent
10.9.0.10 - Win agent

I enable multicast on server and Linux agent.

Agent:

Server:

Win agent starts downloading the file immediately. Linux-waiting for something (below is the debug):

Code:
http://hashcat.sitename.com:80 "POST /api/server.php HTTP/1.1" 200 None
b'{"action":"downloadBinary","response":"SUCCESS","url":"https:\\/\\/hashcat.net\\/files\\/hashcat-6.2.3.7z","name":"hashcat","executable":"hashcat.bin"}'
{'action': 'getFile', 'token': 'n5XEFSwLld', 'taskId': 31, 'file': 'iam_11.txt'}
http://hashcat.sitename.com:80 "POST /api/server.php HTTP/1.1" 200 None
b'{"action":"getFile","filename":"iam_11.txt","extension":"txt","response":"SUCCESS","url":"getFile.php?file=9&token=n5XEFSwLld","filesize":1128963450}'
Multicast is enabled, need to wait until it was delivered!

How do I understand what the problem is?

How many agents/performance will I need?
Posted by: alderanbet - 08-19-2021, 02:42 PM - Forum: Howto - Replies (2)

Hi,

is it possible to calculate how many agents I will need for Brute-force attack for every single preconfigured task of supertask?

-a3 -i #HL# ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a

(Hash modes 22500 | MultiBit Classic .key (MD5)). I will use vast.ai most probably.

Password can be from 8 - 12 characters I think so I don't care about first six preconfigured tasks which I have done already.

I would like to know if it is possible to do it in reasonable time and cost.

  Help Needed for Multi Tasks
Posted by: seokickup - 08-17-2021, 10:26 AM - Forum: Howto - Replies (3)

Hello Everyone,
I have managed to setup both server and multiple clients successfully. however, here is what i am trying to do and need your help:

* I need to setup a main server where hashtopolis server is installed [DONE]
* I need to setup 5 agents (whereby each agent has 5 GPUs) [PARTIALLY DONE]
* I need to create a task whereby i want to use all the combined power (5 agents X 5 GPUs for each agent) [Can't figure this out]

So my question:
- what is the optimal scenario to create a task where i will use only 1 hash and 5 agents to work on this particular hash. [Create a normal task? super task? a bit confused here]
- Also when i have tested using two agents, i got one agent working properly, the second always giving error that could not calculate speed? do i have to select identical agents (same GPU type. i.e RTX 2080ti etc..)?

Appreciate your help.

Agent long time to get the chunk. Sending keepalive progress to avoid timeout...
Posted by: d0br0 - 08-12-2021, 07:18 PM - Forum: Problems - Replies (2)

Hi guys!

  • 0.12.0 commit 2be8530 branch master
  • Python agent v0.6.1
  • Hashcat v6.2.3
  • #HL# -a 3 -m 11300 -w 4 -O -1 wgvxzip37838IJGSDUEB -2 37838 -3 wgvxzipIJGSDUEB sr?2?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?3
  • Chunk size: 600
  • Status timer: 10
  • Benchmark Type: Speed Test
I have 2 agents:

  1. The first one is on Linux and with two nvidia (3060 and 3070).
  2. The second one is on Windows 10 and 6 x RX470.
I have configured the agents for one task.
The first agent at the end of working out the chunk, gets the next chank in 10 seconds.
The second agent writes messages for a very long time:

Sending keepalive progress to avoid timeout...

But after 5-6 minutes, it takes a chunk and starts working. As a result, the second agent on Win is idle most of the time. Below are the screenshots that show this. Tell me, what could be the reason for this behavior and how to fix it?

Debug output from the client:
Code:
Sending keepalive progress to avoid timeout...
{'action': 'sendProgress', 'token': '******', 'chunkId': 118, 'keyspaceProgress': 4417554188, 'relativeProgress': 0, 'speed': 0, 'state': 2, 'cracks': []}
https://hashcat.sitename.ru:443 "POST /api/server.php HTTP/1.1" 200 None
b'{"action":"sendProgress","response":"SUCCESS","cracked":0,"skipped":0,"zaps":[]}'

Below you can see the inactivity of about 6 minutes for the second agent:

Hello, I have a hashcat that supports algorithms not yet included in the official hashcat binaries, can I use them with hashtopolis?

For example the 26600 algorithm
