Information security with Hashtopolis from a new user - 19brooc - 02-11-2021 Hello! I am a brand new user of Hashtopolis and hoping to implement it into a new business! If I had random users signing up as agents and lending compute power to sensitive passwords, would the agents have access to said sensitive information as if they were running these computations locally, or would they be more similar to an e gpu only lending compute power but without any actual information? Thank you all in advance! ![]() RE: Information security with Hashtopolis from a new user - Joker - 07-22-2021 The agent downloads the hashlists and wordlists locally. These are stored in a plaintext manner with a proper directory structure readable to the user the agent is running as. They are not streamed from the server. That being said, it is probably not a great idea to send "secret" data to any agent that you do not 100% trust. |
