How many agents/performance will I need?
#1
Hi,

is it possible to calculate how many agents I will need for Brute-force attack for every single preconfigured task of supertask?

-a3 -i #HL# ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a

(Hash modes 22500 | MultiBit Classic .key (MD5)). I will use vast.ai most probably.

Password can be from 8 - 12 characters I think so I don't care about first six preconfigured tasks which I have done already.

I would like to know if it is possible to do it in reasonable time and cost.

Your keyspace with length 12 is way out of the possible amount of possible calculations. Not even with the fastest hashes you would cover that amount in many years. The keyspace for this task is 5.403600877×10²³ which even overflows 64bit integers (the max what Hashcat can handle)

This is what I was afraid of. I will need to sweeten it for hashcat with some rules and wordlist I believe. Thank you for your answer.
