John the Ripper as a cracker binary

Hi,

Has anyone tried adding John the Ripper as a cracker binary in Hashtopolis? If I were to try it, does anyone have any tips or ideas on how to go about it?

The problem with JtR is, that it does not offer a simple way to tell, where it should start working and where to stop, like it is done on hashcat with the -s and -l flag which are used by Hashtopolis.
If JtR adds such flags to set via command line which determine which part of the whole task should be executed, it then can be used with Hashtopolis with very few additions.
